The actress gained acclaim for her performances in the drama show Rectify along with the sci-fi drama Timeless. A native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut in the character in the soap-opera All My Children. In recognition of her performance she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. The majority of her roles were guest characters in various TV series over the next couple of years. She earned appreciation for the role she played as the character Dr. Erin Jameson in the drama series Hawthorne. Due to her stunning appearance and her acting skills gradually, she gained a massive fan base. When she was twenty, she made her debut in the movie Campfire Stones. She has also appeared as a character in Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks and various other movies. She earned a nomination to the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her performance in the film Beautiful Now'. The film starred her as Lucy Preston the history professor in Timeless.
